Managing Director

Bo works hard with his colleagues every day to ensure the products and services OMD provides our clients are market-leading and best placed to drive their business and brands forward. He is strongly focused on helping shape a culture that attracts and keeps the best people in the industry. Only through cultivating a highly competent team is it possible to guide the evolution of the planning techniques, skills, and technologies needed to establish an integrated strategic planning and execution framework that deliver value for OMDs clients and their balance sheet.

Bo has many years of experience within client service management and as a strategic marketing advisor. Along the way, he has picked up in-depth knowledge and competencies within digital business transformation, gaining a strong accomplishment record within strategic planning in regards to brand and business consulting to senior client management. This deep experience proves vital to delivering knowledgeable solutions for new and current clients alike.

When it comes to moving marketers toward new business performance heights, it is crucial to not spend too much energy on finding the right answers, but rather making sure the right questions are identified.
 
Kasper as Client Service Director excels at that mantra. The work is only effective if the questions are acting as business levers. While it can be tempting to set a strategy based on ramping up clicks, likes and shares, Kasper believes the key is to focus on business goals first. He works skillfully with client marketing teams to clearly define the company's business objectives and purpose in order to demonstrate the role that marketing can play. For Kasper, it is the ambition of the marketing function to lead the growth agenda for a company.
 
With a background as a digital consultant and more than 8 years of experience in the advertising industry, Kasper understands that the future of marketing planning will be much more dependent on technology, software, applied data science and programmatic machine learning, and optimisation against a tirelessly consumer-centric focus. It is, however, just as important to create alignment without compromising the best direction for the brand and business. Kasper believes in being bold. Moreover, he thinks it helps to be proven. But first of all, he believes in being decisive based on what's right for the customer.

Mette Ravnsbjerg Rosenberg

A great marketing performance company understands marketers’ continual frustrations and how to solve them.

That is why Mette is convinced that the best breeding ground for creating strong business results for marketers is a strong relationship between clients and agencies based on mutual respect, trust, curiosity and engagement. Mette focuses on business challenges and results and has an amazing ability to “keep her eye on the ball” without overlooking the small details. She is a perfectionist, always thinks about the process and “lives” the brands of her clients.

Mette is responsible for one of OMD’s client teams and her nine years’ industry experience have given her a deep understanding of several client sectors including FMCG, retail, entertainment and finance. Her strategic media recommendations are based firmly in data and insights in order to achieve the best results for her clients. Mette is without compromise when it comes to developing and motivating a team and she firmly believes that the best leader is the one who empowers their team, making themselves almost redundant.

Christian Frank Sørensen

Digital marketing and data analysis often promise to be the answer to marketing’s big questions about consumer buying patterns; however, the danger is that marketing becomes an always-on sales promotion machine.

As Head of Digital at OMD Denmark, Christian works expertly to balance our approach to digital marketing – so that it is an integral part of not only performance but also traditional brand building, resulting in a focus on brand equity and price justification. Focusing solely on the new era of pinpoint targeting and relevance will expose marketers to the danger of creating more inefficient noise than ever before. Christian firmly believes in building deeper, more intimate relationships with consumers, and this can be done by treating them as valued customers with highly targeted and relevant messaging and offers.

With expertise garnered from more than 13 years in the industry, Christian is a thought leader in aligning a digital marketing strategy with a client’s business goals and objectives. It can be digital strategy focused on communications – supporting a client taking steps into digitally-led advertising – or it could be a business-level digital roadmap providing long-term strategic recommendations for the business. This is balanced with the applied method and thinking that he picked up while working for Google, that calls for a test and learn approach and not expecting to obtain perfection straight away.

The main difference between mediocre agencies and great ones is not vision, but execution. Executing the strategy is not just an important thing; it is the only thing.

As Client Service Director, Annette has high expectations as she knows that is the foundation for high performance. She does not delegate her responsibility for personal involvement in executing her client’s initiatives. Some regard execution as ‘detail work’ that is beneath the dignity of a leader – for Annette the opposite is true – that is the leader’s most important job. Nobody has ever achieved greatness without results and Annette demands nothing less.

With more than 13 years’ experience at OMD Denmark, Annette has worked on clients in almost every major category including retail, FMCG, automotive, travel, government and finance. Over these years, Annette has learned that making the effort to understand what the client really wants and needs from the relationship is crucial to making a good diagnosis. Good agencies, like good doctors, listen first and dispense advice later.

Kenneth Herlin

Strategy Director

To maintain leadership in the marketing performance space it is essential to be in the industry of growing our clients’ business – actually helping them make money, not just save it.

As Strategy Director, Kenneth has developed strong credentials to do exactly that. Part of the reason many agencies continue to produce traditional solutions to marketing problems is because they continue to use the same traditional methods of problem solving. Kenneth has a well-developed strategic awareness and understands that the first task is to interrogate and challenge a client brief. He always tries to actively move the goalposts so that the task is defined according to its potential business impact, rather than being a request for a particular kind of communications execution. He is able to have business-level conversations with clients and never accepts the easy comforts of objectives framed in marketing-speak.

With his analytical research background and more than 17 years of experience in the business, Kenneth knows how to challenge colleagues and clients: 'What assumptions are we making about how communications might work for this brand?’ ‘Which elements of this new thinking should we incorporate into our plans?' The point is, there is a step before leaping into identifying and prioritising media or channel choices. For Kenneth, every day is a quest to become his clients’ most valuable business partner.
